Engagement Anniversary!

Seven years ago today, April 16, 2002, we were engaged!

Oh what a happy day...we really feel it is important to celebrate all of the little "anniversaries" in our relationship - when we started talking, when we met, when we got engaged, when we got married (obviously) and so on! Every morning we say a prayer before I make the commute to work and John thanked God that I said "YES" seven years ago today - so sweet! We didn't date very long before getting engaged, but when you know - you know!!

It was the best decision I ever made and the easiest one as well! I know every wife says this, but John truly is the most wonderful, amazing husband in so many ways! He treats me so well and does so many things for me. He always has my best interest at heart and never fails to make sure I know how much he loves me! I love you to the moon and back, John Douglas Ussery and thank you for asking me to be your wife seven years ago today!
