How can it be that you are already two? It happened in a flash!
Mommy and Daddy want to wish you a VERY Happy 2nd Birthday! Parker, you are such a bright spot in our lives and we are so proud to be your parents. We welcomed your into our family at 6:02pm on February 23, 2012 and our lives were forever changed. This past year has brought about a lot of change and transition for you and for our family - it's been a fun year! At this time last year, you weren't even walking and now you are not only walking, but running, leaping, jumping and climbing. You were also just making a few different sounds and saying a handful of words and now your vocabulary is growing everyday - you are quite the talker.
Parker you have unbelievable energy. You are so happy and playful. As active, and sometimes wild as you are, you are tender and ever so sweet in many ways. You are very smart and know so much - words, letters, numbers, colors, shapes, animals and their sounds, a few opposite words and tons more. You are too funny and make us laugh everyday. You have the best smile and laugh. You are so handsome and we love your big blue eyes. You are very adventurous and curious and are starting to develop a cute imagination.
Some of your LOVES - playing with toys, reading books, watching all of your Nick Jr. friends on TV, the bath, being outside, singing songs and being sung to, trains, anything to do with water, running around, blowing bubbles, vacuum cleaners, helping Mommy and Daddy with small chores around the house, pizza, M&Ms, marshmallows, "nunnies" (bunnies), animals, Wheel of Fortune, finding things that are hidden, coloring and drawing, play-dough, your blanket - to name a few! Of course you love Mommy, Daddy and all of your family too!
Our hearts are full and it's been really neat to watch you grow and change so much this year. The baby days are definitely behind us and we are in toddler days now. It's a fun and exciting time! We are building a new house right now and should be moving in within the next 2-3 weeks. We cannot wait to make new family memories there and see what this year holds for us all. We are anxious to see how you will grow and change in the coming months as you make your way to birthday #3. We want to savor and enjoy each moment with you in this season of life.
