Oklahoma - Day Three

Today we finished up our time in Stillwater and then made our way to Oklahoma City.

After we got up and ready for the day, we checked out of our hotel and went to breakfast.

Granny’s Kitchen was another place I found online that was highly recommended. It did not disappoint! It was a small family owned cafe and one of our favorite meals of the trip. It was a yummy way to start the day.

After breakfast, we made our way to a small children's museum/play place in Stillwater before we made the trek to Oklahoma City. Unfortunately, it was extremely crowded.  Because of the Oklahoma teacher's strike, the kids were out of school for a few days.  It was more crowded and louder than we anticipated.  Parker wanted to stay and play for a little while, but we didn't stay a very long time.  It would have been a fun place if it was a little less packed.  After we played for a while, we shopped a little, had lunch and drove to Oklahoma City.

After we arrived in Oklahoma City, we checked into our hotel which was in the downtown area. Parker could hardly wait to go swimming.  John and Parker changed and we went down for a swim before dinner.

Parker had so much fun - the hotel pool was really fun and shallow enough for Parker to enjoy!

After swimming, we freshened up and walked right across the street for supper.  We ate some delicious seafood and chicken then went back to the hotel for the night.

We had some rest to get because the next day we would be going to the Science Museum.  Little did we know it would be our favorite activity of the whole trip!

Until we meet again...
Riley
