Meeting D.J. Tanner

Growing up, D.J. Tanner was my best friend. Oh wait, maybe that was in my dream or imagination. Plus "D.J. Tanner" was a fictional character on Full House. Candace Cameron played "D.J. Tanner" on Full House. It was one of my favorite shows growing up and I still love it to this day. Granted, it's a little cheesier than I remember, but it's a good family TV show and really funny. There's not much of that left on TV anymore.

Well, "D.J" is all grown up now. She's married to a retired professional hockey player and has 3 beautiful children. She recently wrote a book entitled "Reshaping it All" that I read earlier this year (read that post here to learn all about it). She was recently at First Baptist Church in Dallas (on Mother's Day) giving her faith testimony, signing her book and selling a few of her t-shirts and other items. Of course I had to go! John was so sweet to drive me to downtown Dallas to attend the worship service and meet her.

She was so pretty and nice - I enjoyed hearing her talk. I also got the opportunity to meet her afterwards and have her sign my book. I also bought one of her faith t-shirts. I told her how much I liked her and how I thoroughly enjoyed the book. It was a fun experience.

Thanks for the memories , D.J.!

Until we meet again...
Riley
